About Me

I'm Emma, owner of The Perfect Card Company, an Independent Phoenix Trader, wife and mum of 3!! Phew it's busy but I love it.

I started The Perfect Card Company back in 2002 in partnership with my sister. I was on maternity leave spending hours dreaming up business ideas which would mean I didn't have to leave my 9mth old son in nursery and go back to my day job as Paediatric Nurse at my local hospital. A lightbulb moment happened when my sister decided to make her own wedding stationery.......... and within a year we had designed our first set of wedding invitations, set up a company and a new website..... the luxury greeting cards quickly followed .....

Over the following years we have slowly developed our distinct brand of greeting cards and built our loyal customer base whilst our families have grown (me x 3 and my sister x 2!)

Big changes in 2009 saw my sister emigrate and I became sole trader of The Perfect Card Company shortly after the birth of my third child!

As of Oct 2010 I have become an Independent Trader for Phoenix Cards - I love their greeting cards and stationery - they are stunning and great value for money - a perfect complimentary product to our own handmade greeting cards. Like The Perfect Card Company, Phoenix cards can't be bought on the high street - so not only are they beautiful they are also unique. The value packs are excellent value and not only save you money but time as well!!

Our New Website has been live since November 2010 -  so not so "new" anymore - still would love to hear any feedback you have as we are continually tweaking and improving it!
